The regimental history of the 307th Field Artillery during World War I. The regiment was established on September 6, 1917 and trained at Camp Dix (Ft. Dix) in south-central New Jersey. During the war, the unit participated in campaigns at Oise-Asnie, Meuse-Argonne, Champagne, and Lorraine; its Company K was part of the "Lost Batallion" and the company commander ws awarded the Meda of Honor.
