Illustrated with photographs and with duo-tone plates of paintings in the exhibition. Cataloge of a special exhibition of World War I French air battles painted by Lt. Henri Farre, who was the official painetr of the French Army and Navy. The exhibition, which featured 176 works (over a dozen of which are reproduced here), was held to benefit the children of French aviators killed in action. Very good, light even soiling to the cream colored wraps, small puncture upper right portion of the front wrap. Item #E6233
