Death Counts Five (in original dust jacket)

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1934. Reissue Hardcover in light blue cloth lettered in black. A tight, fine copy in the original vintage dust jacket with same design as the Watt first edition. Jacket is very good, shallow wear at the spine extremities and tips; somewhat unusually for Grosset issues, the jacket is priced (.75 cents). "Death in the night! A woman's wailing scream of soul-wracking agony...echoing through the shadowiy woods and from every crevice in the hills..." Dr. Hugh Stafford investigates a murder that leads him to a sinister house on a Pacific hilltop. Remarkably uncommon in any edition. Fine Hardcover (Item ID: E23254)
