This copy also bears the bookseller ticket of Samuel Weiser, the famed New York City bookseller who specialized in occult and magical texts. A work of mysticis in 1930. Gremain revealed to him the existence of an unseen world of "Ascended Masters" , a race of advanced, beneficent beings. Ballard, as Godfre Ray King, related the messages he received fromSaint Germain in a series of books, and along with his wife Edna "Lotus" Ballard, founded the "I AM" movement; his serreis of lectures and writings reputedly garnered some million followers durinmg the years of the Great Depression and the "Ascended Master Teachings" are still followed today.
