A tight, very good copy, gilt bright, moderate rubbing to the extremities and a narrow strip of light spotting to the cloth. The third novel by American author Mary Johnston (1870-1936). Her first book, "To Have and To Hold" was the best selling book of 1900 and she continued to enjoy a career of great popularity.
