Piniella broke into the majors with the 1964 Baltimore Orioles, spent the next three years back in the minors before being brought up again by Cleveland. He joined the Yankees in 1974 and spent the final 11 years of his active career with them. in 1985 he was a coach for the team and became their manager in 1986. In this book, Sweet Lou tells inside storis of the wild '85 season in the Bronx including the famous dugout battle between Reggie Jackson and then-manager Billy Martin. He also tells of winning the World Series with the team in the 1970s, speaking with Thurman Munson about flying just two days before the fatal crash that claimed the life of the Yankee captain, and much more.
