Lily Of New Orleans (Intimate Novel No. 38)

New York: Designs, 1930. Reissue Slightly oversized paperback in color illustrated wrappers. 126 pp. plus 1 page publisher's list at rear. The copyright page states that the book had previously been issued by Wiley under the title "For Men Only" and in England in 1948 under the title "The Loves Of A Harlot". Carries only the 1930 copyright date but our opinion is that this edition was also published circa 1948 . About very good, pages embrowned as usual with these pulp publications. "Lovey had red hair, she was thirty, and she lived a capricious existence spattered with ten karat diamonds, political battles, doorbells and lustful men, days lazy and nights crazy..." and she ran a New Orleans "sporting house". Very Good Softcover (Item ID: E22008)
