Privately Printed, 1948. First edition Scarce. Stiff cranberry colored wrappers letterd in gilt. Unpaginated (58 pp. ) Illustrated with photographs. Monograph published in honor of the 250th anniversay of the small Mercer County, New Jersey town of Cranberry. There were settlers inthe area as early as c. 1680; the town traces its founding to a 1698 document granting one John Harrison a licence to purchase land from the Indians for the purpose of improving the road from Burlington to New York. Very good, some fading about the egdes of the covers; the first interior page is a blank for "Autographs" on which there are some old pencil notations; some light foxing to the first and last leaves . The rear portion of the booklet consists of advertsing and congratulatory messages from local persons and businesses. Very Good Softcover (Item ID: E20903B)
