1790. One sheet, quarto sized (7 1/2" x 12") . Handwritten document in Livingston's hand dated at Perth Amboy, 12 June 1790, and signed "Wil. Livingston". 17 lines concerning a mortgage bond transaction. Three light folds otherwise clean and generally fine. William Livingston (1723-July 29, 1790) was Governor of New Jersey during the American Revolution, serving from 1776 to 1790; he was a commissioned as a brigadier general in the New Jersey militia in 1775. Livingston was the senior delegate from New Jersey to the Constitutional Convention in 1787 and was a signer of the United States Constitution. mss (Item ID: E18654)
