New York: Frank Tousey, 1881. First edition Firts ediiton. Illustrated wraps, 60 pp. plus one page publisher's ads at rear. Illustrations by Hopkins and Thos. Worth. 19th century humor about a young New Yorker (Bob Howitzer, broke), an Irish landlady, a prettygirl, etc. complete with some German, Irish French and Chinese dialect. Very good, narrow tape repair to the part of the outer edge of the front wraps and a very small section of edge of the rtear wrap. Interior clean except for some staining to p. 7, a bit toned about the edges as wouyld be expected of a pulp piece priced at 10 cents. Scarce, OCLC locates only 4 copies.
