In first issue dust jacket with three "Advance Comments" on the rear panel, front panel has backgrounds of the tille in blue, red and black, price of $3.50 intact. Jacket has some darkening to the spine strip, shallow wear at the spine ends and some rubbing along the folds. Not only a high spot in baseball books but also in late 20th century American fiction, a novel about a brash young ballplayer and his doomed teammate.
