This a review copy, out of sequence, unnumbered and unsigned, with publisher's note addressed to the literary editor of the Philadelphia Record tipped onto the front free endpaper. Fiction. Dedication page reads "To the Ass in the Ivory Tower: The "autobiography" of a cockroach. with woodecuts preceding each chapet and interleaved with decorated tissue paper chapter titles. Black cloth titled in white and with decoration of the subject. Near fine with a bit of slight discoloration to the lower portion of the front cloth. A truly unusual book.
