Hunter. Scarce early work on the game of ping pong, or table tennis, authored by one of the top players of the 1920s. Sections include history of the game and the American Ping Pong Association, the future of the game, equipment, science of play, strokes, practice methods, do's and dont's, ping pong for ladies, organization of tournaments and the rules and laws of play. A tight, generally fine copy with spine lettering darkened but not rubbed. In the very scarce photographic dust jacket which is rather dusty and spotted (more so on the rear panel) and has some edge wear and a small chip to the head of the spine. Near Fine / Very Good.
