Both volumes tight with minor wear at tips and spine edges and a couple tiny scuffs; some slight discoloration to portions of the cloth; offsetting to the frontises with corresponding offsetting to the title pages; prev. own. inscr. front fly of the first volume. A very presentable example of this rather scarce two-volume history of The Emerald Isle printed in New York at the height of Civil War era of Irish pride which led in part to the Draft Riots.
