Scarce and important book printed in Colorado when it was still aTerritory, likely one of the earliest purely literary books printed there. Colorado lore in verse form ; the poem on p.115 is dedicated to pioneer explorere and "Rocky Mountain News" founder Wm. Byers; other subjects include the 1854 Indian massacre at Pueblo.
