Flaming Arrow's People

1932 NY: Duffield and Green, First edition. Srtikingly illustrated by seven bold native American drawings on dark brown paper leaves interspersed in the text. The author, an Acoma Indian, recounts the lives, tales, folklore and history of his people. Wear to the tips and frayed at head of spine; spine well rubbed. The drawings are quite attractive and remarkable, quite unlike anything else we've seen in a book of this sort. (Item ID: D246)
