A tight example, interior bright and fresh (with the exception of the front and rear second blanks which are both evenly embrowned); gift inscription dated Dec. 25th/47" on the front free endpaper. Spine a bit sunned but gilt still bright, very shallow wear at the spine extremities and two small ships upper portion of the spine, neatly repaired spit inder the words "Snow Storm". Near Fine.
