The author's memoirs and anecdotes of a Christmas season spent touring the West Indies; he visited such islands as Trinidad, Monserrat, thge Bocas Islands, etc. A tight example, about very good, some staining to the front bpoard and narrow loss at the foot of the spine. Affixed to the front endpaper is a manuscript page dated November 25th, 1871 regarding the establishment of the Cream Ridge (New Jersey) Circiulating Library and containing its rules and a list of its members (which numbered 20 persons).
