Illustrated with full and partial page engravings, photographs and reproductions, decorated capitals at chapter headings. Presentation copy inscribed and dated at Chicago, July 15, 1914 by the author on the third front blank. A tight example, bit of scuffing to the leather here and ther about the edges and a small narrow chip to the head of the spine. Lavish and detailed story of the great Conclave week celebrating the history of the Knights Templar, the middle ages group of warrior priests on which the modern Masonic orders are based, held in Chicago in 1910. The book traces the history of the Templars and reviews previous Conclaves, reviewsthe Chicago event and also has biographica chapters on notable Masons of the period such as Henry Warren Rugg, Robert Enoch Withers, Henry L.
