Vitaphone Talking Picture starring Pauline Frederick, Bery Lytell and Lois Wilson. The novel and film versions (it first appeared as a silent film in 1917) were based on Rice's successful stageplay (it ran for over 360 performances) and was remade for the screen on 1939. Very good.
