Novel of anti-Catholic sentiment set in Ireland. The title character sets out from his ancestral home, comes back converted, attempts to convery his family thereby causing much anger and disturbance. Very good, some spotting to the cloth, endpapers and blanks are darkened but the text block is fairly clean and bright with some occasional foxing. Item #E5974
