Perry Mason's receptionist told him two men were waiting in his outer office--one a prosperous looking banker, the other a tramp. So Mason says, "I'll see the tramp. Tell the banker i can't be bothers with corporate law." The tramp relates the story of one of the famous Lost Mines of the dester region of Southern California and of a sinewy little desert prospector and his partner who had struck it rich. They 'housed-up" but losing his health, the prospector spread his sleeping bag out in the cactus garden of the big, red-tiled mansion.
