Carries only the 1914 copyright date but this is the first printing of the book( 1917 ) with the pictorial dust jacket (see below) and frontispiece photo of actress Doris Kenyou and maty Roberts Rinehart seated together. Doris Kenyon starred in the silent film of the same title in 1917. 376 pp. plus one page fo ads at rear. Three additional full page plates by Mary Wilson Preston in the text. Very good in the original pictorial dust jacket featuring Doris Kenyon in the film role and statement "Especially Posed by Doris Kenyon for This Edition"; jacket has shallow chipping along the bottom edge of the front panel as well as the foot of the spine. "The Street of Seven Stars" is an early Rinehart romance novel about a woman violinist, Harmony Wells. who while studying in Vienna suffers financial hardship and becomes entangled in web of love, sacrifice and intrigue with an American expatriate doctor.
