Reputedly, at 8 years old, Price met "The Great Sequah", a Native American magician who was appearing with a circus in Shrewsbury in 1889 and supposedly cured the boy of a toothache. Price went on to become an accomplished amateur conjuror with particular expertise in sleight-of-hand. That expertise served him well in investigating and exposing fraudulent mediums and paranormal phenomena. He did, however, endorse some mediums he thought were genuine. Fine. Item #E34775
