Hardcover. 192 pp. Left alone by her husband's urgent police business, Bunty Felse began to feel depressed. She would be 41 tomorrow and she felt that now her son had grown up there was nothing left for her to do except grow older. To throw off this black mood she went to the local pub. There a chance meeting showed how wrong her farewell words to her husband had been, and also made her realize how much she valued the life that earlier seemed to stretch out endlessly before herm as she desperately struggled to hang on to it, even if only for a few hours. The terrifying events following Bunty's unexpected encounter are excitingly and sympathetically told. Fine / very good. Item #E34361
