Very good in very good, color illustrated dust jacket with some wear at the extremities,. Young adult tale set in the wooded hills of Vermont where, though there was still snow on the ground, it was spring and maple sugaring had begun. The Allen family, Vermonters for generations joined with their newcomer neighbors, the Kolochecks who had emigrated from Poland, who wanted to learn how to do it so they could pay the first installment on the price of their new farm. The local families also worked for funds to restore the old Meeting House to use as a community center. Very Good / very good. Item #E33495
