He also covers aspects of "weird witchcraft" lime the Satanic Oath, the Black Mass, psychoteraputic witchcraft, "The Dried Up Lemon", obeah and voodoo. sex, sorcery and sadism as well as a chapter on Christmas as a pagan holiday and historic prophecies. Martello was an often controversial theorist and activist; he founded Witches International Craft Association (WICA) and sponsored the first Halloween Witch-in in New York's Central park (though not without the intercedence of the ACLU when he was denied a permit).
