Fine but with the pages well embrowned as is usual with these wartime editions. In the original dust jacket, shallow chipping at the spine edges and some minor wear at the tips, some markings within three of the front panel title lettering. Inspector Richard Queen's eighth case in which his investigation of a murdered man is all the more baffling because at the crime scene everything, including the victim's clothes, had been turned backwards.
