Published shortly after its conclusion, a newspaper reporter's account of U.S. naval operations of the Spanish-American War. Interspersed are chapters writen by four naval commanders providing first-hand accounts of actions: Commander Chapman C. Todd of the "Wilmington"; Captain Robley D.
