Uncommon, not published in the U.S. Biography of one of the legendary superstars of pro wrestling, Andre Roussimoff, better known as Andre The Giant. Born in France, he moved to Paris in the mid-1960s at age 18 to pursue professional wrestling. His extrordinary size, for which he was most famous (he was 7'4" and weighed in excess of 500 pounds), was a result of a hormonal condition. After coming to North America, he was promoted by WWWF head Vince McMahon as a "special attraction". He and Hilk Hogan headlined the Wrestlemania III in 1987 and the floowing year Andre defeaetd Hogan to claim his only World Heavyweight Championship. He died in 1993 at age 46. Fine / fine.
