The author a medical specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, was the editor emetitus of the American Journal of Surgery. The work offers general chapters on marriage and childbearing (including "the moral alternative to contraceptives"), physical matters like the egg and the male cell, menstruation, motherhood, then proceeds to guide the reader through how to apply the "modern method of birth control", charts of normal and irregular menstrual cycles, "the thermometer method", infertitlity and its treatment, etc. Very Good.
