An uncommonly nice copy of the Eighth Edition, with boards and spine relatively clean, tight in its binding, vii+ 112 pp. plus 7 numbered plates at rear plus an additional 4 unnumbered plates following. Many small figures in the text showing proper drill formations, etc. An apparently unused copy as most of the top edges of the text are unopened. The preliminary title page reads, "Regulations to be Received And Observed for the Discipline Of Infantry in the Army Of The United States" with imprint of the General Orders pf the Adjutant General's Office dated at Washington City, 19th March, 1813 and signed in print by T.H.
