Illustrated endpapers. 37 pp. Full color pictures by Alice Beard. One of the most interesting, scarcest and unusual Mother Goose collections. The eleven short verses ("Mistress Mary", "There Was an Old Man", etc.) appear on the left hand side of the page while the right side is a color illustration with double fold-open flaps that reveal secondary images (for example, in the first set of drawings, little Miss Muffet is sitting and eating her curds and whey--when the flaps ae flipped, we see the spider on her dress, Miss Muffet running away and the crashed bowl on the floor). Very good, outer tips a bit rounded and wear to the top and bottom edges of the cover, aprox 3 1/2" narrrow light colored stain top right corner of the front cover. . Interior clean with the illustration colors bright. Very Good. Item #E25280
