Frontispiece portrait engraving of M.W. Baldwin with tissue guard. 324 pp. with index, glossary of technical terms, table of time differences from New York, table of milages. Illustrated with full page engravings of various locomotives and with diagrams. Interior tight and clean, leather had some rubbing about the edges and shallow loss at head and foot of spine.
