1868. Hardcover. Marbeled paper covered boards over three quarter black leather, well worn. 96 pp. on lined, light blue paper. First three leaves and final two leave blank. A manuscript record of the addresses of properties owned, valuations, expenses on, and taxes paid by an unidentified owner in the City of New York and Goshen, New York between 1858 and 1868. There are also handwritten notes on personal expenses and help to pay a mortgage on St. James Chuch in Goshen, Christmas trees for orphans, etc. The record shows that taxes were paid to "The Corporation of the City of New York" and some of the addresses include properties on Paerl Street, Franklin Street, Reade Street, West Broad[way], 40-41 Streets, 42-43 St. The covers are well worn and loosened but the interior is firm and consists of fairly heavy stock paper.
