Very good, old cloth tape reinforcement head and foot of spine. 210 pp. Part I but a stand alone volume with Part II promised "shortly". Frontispiece color image of a 1737 Stradivarius "Chant Du Cygne". Photographs of offered instruments on most facing pages in the text. The catalogue is divided into sections per instrument: violins, small learning violins, violas, and vioncellos. Each entry provides the maker, place and date of production, and a brief description and condition comment. Laid in arre three small price list of strings booklets dated 1934, 1937, and one undated.
