Hardcover in light cream colored cloth lettered in red. 204 pp. Fine in very good dust jacket. Autobiography of one of America's best loved entertainers of middle of the 20th century. Eddie Cantor (1892-1964) came from New York City's Lower East Side and as a young boy ran deliveries for a local grocer; he noticed that people would walk extra blocks to come to this particular grocer because he always incuded a little extra with his orders. Cantor learned this lesson well and always "gave a little extra" in his performances and gained the nickname "The Apostle Of Pep". He starred in vaudeville, on Broadway, on the radio, films, and early TV. Fine / very good. Item #E21802
