New York: Harper & Bros, 1852. Leather_bound. Thick bound volume in three quarter brown calf over marbled paper covered boards. 846 + 144 pp. Illustrated throughout with engravings. While the title page states Dec., 1851-May, 1852, this volume contains the January through June, 1852 issues. A tight example, the spine is faded to lighter tan and shows rubbing though the gilt stamping is still bright, wear about the outer edge of the boards. Occasional foxing to the text. This volume contains two installations of Dickens' "Bleak House" (Chapters 1-IV running pp. 649-668 including a small engraving of Miss Jellyby and Chapters V-VII running pp. 809-828). Also includes two Dickens pieces, "Christmas As We Grow Older" and "What Christmas Is in the Company of John Doe" Very Good. Item #E21119B
