The True Story Of the Lindbergh Kidnapping (in rare original dust jacket)

New York: Kroy Wen Publishers, 1932. Hardcover. Very scarce. Hardcover in orange cloth lettered in black. 275 pp. Frontis and six additional photographic plates. A tight, bright example with some holing along the front gutter. In the virtually never seen dust jacket featuring an image of the child, chipping about the edges, larger chip head of spine. The first and by far the scarcest book about the Lindbergh Baby kidnapping case, published shortly after the March 1st, 1932 crime and almost two years before Bruno Hauptmann was arrested for it. The authors present the numerous facts as they were known as the time and raise several serious questions about methods used, real and ficticious clues, as well as confusing actions (or lack thereof) of Lindbergh himself. Very Good / good. Item #E20967
