(1883)128 pp. plus 16 page illustrated publisher's catalogue at rear. Fine full page engravings. A tight, nera fine example with a touch of wear to the spine extremities and a narrow bit of reddish spotting along the edges of the boards. Offsetting to the endpapers and, on the front free endpaper, an 1888 prize presentation inscription from a Sunday school "for good lessons and good attendance" as well as a small Christmas 1971 ownership signature. Deacessioned from a church archive and so stamped on the verso of the title page. A collection of charming little tales of a Sunday school teacher and her students, or "tinies".
