Children's book of stories of the brownies, the household fairies of Scotland designed , according to the author's preface, not only to arouse curiosity and imagination but to assist in reading. The vocabulary, based on The Brownie Primer, is equivalent to a second grade reader. Very good, some scuffing to the front cover and modest wear at the extremities. Very Good. Item #E16823
