Title page printed in blue and black. 153 pp. Ilustrations with chartming drawings by Addie Ledyard. A tight, bright example, interior appears unread, very light dmaping to the lower portion of the cloth binding. Poetry. Includes pieces on New Year's visiting, "Christmas Greens", "A Legend of St. Valentine", New York's Lake Mahopac. Rather a scarce little volume in first edition, this collection was reprinted at least twice oin the 19th century (causing some confusion as to what constitutes a true first). George Augustus Baker, Jr. (1821-1880) was primarily famous as a portrait artist who worked both in full size and in miniature, his favorite subjects being children and women.
