Contains, among other pieces, Twain's short piece "Membranous Group" on pp. 86-94 (here spelled in the complete title "Membranous Croup and The McWilliamses" but as "Membranous Group" in the index) as well as "Miss Blanche Says" by Bret Harte. Orinianlly published in 1875, "Membranous Croup" was the first of three comic tales about the tribulations of middle-class couple. Very good or somewhat better, light even soiling to the wraps and a small chip foot of spine. Very Good. Item #E14055B
