Four full page hand colored engravings and hand tinting on one of the decorative flourished on the cover. The rear wrap has additional verse summarizing the story and providing the moral of the tale which is "Whoever takes the Devil's bait/ Is sure to feel the hook". Verse tale of a deacon and a parson and a pair of bulls who tussle. Staining to the wraps and foxing to the interior. OCLC located only four copies, all at the American Antiquarian Society but only one published by Bolles, the author. Good. Item #E12978B
