Oblong hardcover in illustrated turquoise colored paper covered boards over cloth spine; rear cover is adverts for publisher's "New Books for Boys and Girls". 208 pp. This copy lacking the title page so preface is the first page of text. First edition, first issue with "Dixie's land on pp. 200 and 201; this was supressed and eliminated from the book after the start of the Civil War. Contains paino scaore and lyrics for the songs of which there are nearly 200. Worn and shaken. Fair. Item #E12750
