Verso of front wrap lists "Denison's Acting Plays". Melodrama set in New York City and vicinity in the late Victorian era featuring such parts as "Robert Miller, the Yankee Detective", Capt. Dudley, a gang of counterfeiters, "Splinters, a one-horse lawyer", various saloon keepers, bogus detectives, abandoned wives and "Granny Whizzle, housekeeper for the gang". The running time was advertised as 2 hours and 15 minutes. Very good and actually quite scarce in its original publication. Very Good. Item #E11368
