Blindstamped dark blue-green cloth with spine lettered and decorated in gilt with a depiction of Crusoe. 417 pps. , "illustrated with characteristic engravings" (woodcuts). A tight, rather handsome copy with spine gilt a touch tarnished but still generally bright. Rear cloth has a small area of dampstaining which extends minimally to the rear endpapers and blanks. Prev. own. sig. dated 1876 on the ffep in pencil and again in neat violet ink. Item #D8434
