Small quarto in green cloth, top edge gilt, lettered in stamped in gilt. 429 pps. with index; 91 illustrations by Rose Barton, reproductions of old engravings and photographs. A very good copy, cloth is moderately, evenly soiled with some sunning to the spine strip, though the gilt lettering is still quite clear. Occasional foxing to the pages, more so on the prelims and first few leaves. Two contemporary bookplates front pastedown. We can make scans of the binding available to serious inquirers. Very Good.
