Blue cloth brilliantly decorated in gilt, white and black cover and spine; 137 pps. title page printed in red and green; illustrated with photogravures. This edition is often misidentified as the first as it carries only a 1907 date on the copyright page; the title page however identifies Service as the author of "Rhymes of a Red Cross Man" which was first published in 1916. Nonetheless, this is a relatively scarce Service edition and quite attractive. A tight, fine, bright copy, with all gilt bright. Fine. Item #D7971
