"The Salem Witchcraft" non-fiction article appears on pp. 60-67 and is not attributed. A very-good to near fine example, some light soiling to the wraps and light foxing to the title page and contents page. Scattered light foxing to the text. As was not uncommon with this publication, the printed cover date of March, 1846 is hand-corrected in ink to read "January 1846" and the original printed "No." correcetd from XV to "III". Also, the year date in the top inner corner of page 61 reads "1845" while all other such dates in this issue correctly read "1846". A notable early 19th century rerporting of the Salem witch trials.
